Contest Winner. It really depends on how much land there actually is on a tile, and the zoom level (scenery quality). For example, I have one set of scenery for Bahrain, where most of the tile is water, which comes to about 1.27GB, while the scenery for my area (which is two tiles together) works out at 9GB per tile, covering most of central England. As for keeping it, G2Xpl is just like a middle man - It downloads the images you need and sets them up for use in X-Plane, then leaves behind a folder that works like any other scenery pack in X-Plane. Re-naming it to whatever you want (I use the format zzzzlocationPhotoscenery so I remember they have to be at the bottom of the Scenery packs.ini file) stops G2xpl accessing the folder again the next time you create a tile, or keeping it the same name means G2xpl automatically adds the next tile you download into that pack so your individual packs cover larger areas!
